As Guy Fawkes Night draws ever closer a huge amount of firework displays are being organised around London. People of all ages can go along and enjoy some spectacular fireworks displays all over the capital so why not start planning where you can go and see some impressive fireworks this November.
If you are unable to make it to any firework displays on November 5th, rest assured there a number of firework displays in London being organised for both the weekend before and after Guy Fawkes Night. There are some fantastic fireworks displays in London scheduled for this year and we have made a list to help you find your local fireworks display in your area:
After a long fireworks display absence, ‘Ally Pally’ is now back with its biggest performance yet. With some of the biggest combined fireworks, laser shows and music shows to mark its comeback, it is one of the biggest fireworks displays in London which should be a ‘must see’ for everyone! Doors open at 2pm for the winter festival, which include ‘helter skelters’, ice skating and also a Bier Festivals for the adults.

Uxbridge Fireworks sometimes holds two separate fireworks displays at 6pm and 7pm. Not only can adults and children come and enjoy the fireworks but there is also various types of entertainment held throughout the evening, which includes a full sized funfair, arts and crafts stations and a number of food stalls for those hungry firework enthusiasts.

Join in the fun with Hammersmith and Fulham Council’s yearly fireworks display. Generally held in Ravenscourt Park, gates open at 6pm with both main events and children’s fireworks displays starting at 7.15pm. The finale fireworks display, choreographed to music, starts at 8pm. It is illegal to bring your own fireworks, sparklers, alcohol or dogs to the event. Tickets are cheaper if purchased in advance at the Lyric Theatre Box Office.

Blackheath Fireworks Display is a main attraction in South London and tends to attract over 100,000 spectators each year. Don’t miss out on the fun this year with a funfair which starts at 4pm together with food stalls and bars which start at 5pm and off course their amazing fireworks display followed shortly after. Entry is free for this event but donations made towards the cost of running the event is always asked for.

Come and join in the Pleasure Gardens Fire Festival finale on bonfire night. Enjoy the flavours of their various food stalls and bars until the bonfire is lit at 7pm. This is followed by a Tea House theatre show about the origin or fire using various acts and artists. The evening comes to a climax with an exciting fireworks display at 8pm. FREE Entry for all!

This event contains a series of fireworks displays themed to music. To add another dimension to the experience, visitors can purchase 3D glasses which transform the fireworks into 3D Lego bricks. Visit the Legoland website for ticket prices.

In 2013, Lambeth Council hired the expertise of a team of fireworks professionals who were behind the London Olympics fireworks display. To accompany their fireworks displays there is always a selection of funfair stalls, music, food and drink. Fireman Sam is often there for fireworks safety advice for the children. Entry is FREE for this event.

With two displays scheduled, starting with a children’s colourful display at 7pm and a main display at 8.30pm, their fireworks displays is a great one to see. A family funfair and food stalls are also a great complement to this family evening event. Personal use of fireworks and alcohol is not permitted.

Wimbledon Park Fireworks Display is split into two sections; the first is a bonfire together with a small fireworks display suitable for children and the second is a louder more explosive fireworks display for adults. There is also a funfair up until 10pm. No personal fireworks, alcohol or pets are allowed.

This spectacular show which stretches over three miles from Mansion House through to the historic streets of Square Mile is a tradition dating back to 1215 to welcome a new Mayor to London. This show was cancelled in 2012, but as promised was back for 2013. The fireworks display normally starts around 5pm and is fired from a barge moored between Waterloo and Blackfriars bridges.
